DJ Kelli has worked hundreds of private events across Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area and knows how to read a room that is not necessarily predisposed to dancing.

PLANNING PROCESS

Dale manages pre-event planning from the initial inquiry through the final details. Music preferences, event timeline, crowd age range, any formality or program elements, and songs or genres that should be avoided are all gathered in advance and documented in the Vibo planning app. Clients are welcome to schedule as many planning calls as they need with either Dale or DJ Kelli.

MUSIC PLANNING &
CROWD READING

No two private events sound the same. A 60th birthday for a crowd that grew up on Motown and classic rock is a different job than a sweet 16 where the playlist lives on TikTok. DJ Kelli adjusts based on who is actually in the room, not a preset format.

For events with a wide age range, genre transitions and pacing matter more than volume. Older guests can be driven off the floor if the energy shifts too hard too early. DJ Kelli reads those cues and moves at the right pace for the room.

Clean versions are the default for any event where minors are present or where the client has not specified otherwise.

MC SERVICES

DJ Kelli handles all MC duties: guest direction, dinner transitions, program announcements, introductions, and any other moments that need a voice on the microphone. The approach is clear and direct without being performative. The mic is used to keep the event moving, not to entertain at the expense of the people being celebrated.

For mitzvahs, quinceañeras, and other milestone events with structured programs, DJ Kelli has experience managing multiple scheduled formalities, specific song cues, and coordinated introductions.

MICROPHONES

Professional-grade speakers and wireless microphone systems are included at every event. Volume is managed relative to the room and the moment: lower during dinner and mingling, balanced during speeches and toasts, appropriate for the dance floor without making conversation impossible near the edges.

KARAOKE

Karaoke is available as an add-on and tends to work particularly well at birthday parties, reunions, and casual social gatherings. The library covers more than 10,000 songs across genres and eras.

DJ Kelli manages song rotation and keeps the energy moving between performers. A well-managed karaoke set keeps guests engaged whether they are on the microphone or watching from the side. Without active host management, it tends to stall.
