The company is led by DJ Kelli, with planning and logistics managed by Dale, DJ Kelli’s brother. DJ Kelli brings a background in music and live performance, while Dale oversees timelines, communication, and event flow behind the scenes.

DJ Kelli is a Seattle-based wedding and event DJ who approaches each celebration with a focus on rhythm, flow, and timing. The experience is shaped less by scripted moments and more by how a night naturally unfolds, from the subtle build of energy during cocktail hour to a full dance floor that feels effortless and connected. Each event is treated as its own environment, with music selected and layered in a way that reflects the people in the room and the pace of the day.
A background as a jazz drummer continues to influence the approach, with an emphasis on timing, dynamics, and reading a crowd in real time. Formal training at the Art Institute of Seattle helped develop a foundation in performance, structure, and creative discipline. That combination of musical intuition and technical preparation shapes an approach that prioritizes feel over formula, allowing each event to develop with intention rather than repetition.
Events range from large city venues to more intimate settings, with a consistent focus on clarity, coordination, and overall experience. Close collaboration with planners and vendors helps ensure that transitions remain smooth and timelines stay on track without drawing attention away from the moment itself. Reliable audio, especially for ceremonies and speeches, remains a constant priority.
Outside of events, time is often spent rewatching cheesy old movies, appreciating familiar moments and storytelling that never quite loses its charm. Dale manages planning, communication, and logistics for Puget Sounds, serving as the primary point of contact for couples throughout the experience. From the first inquiry call to final timeline coordination, the focus remains on creating a process that feels clear, responsive, and easy to navigate.
The company began organically through a shared family love of music and karaoke, with DJ Kelli originally starting as a karaoke host in the Pacific Northwest. After designing the company website and helping generate early leads, Dale gradually stepped into operations, communication, and client management. As weddings became a larger part of the business around 2010, the balance between creativity and organization naturally became one of the company’s defining strengths.
While DJ Kelli focuses on performance and creating the atmosphere for each event, Dale oversees the structure behind the scenes, including inquiry calls, vendor communication, logistics, and ongoing client support throughout the planning process. Couples often describe the experience as organized, transparent, and easy to navigate, with fast communication and a steady presence throughout the planning process.
Outside of work, time is often spent skiing, traveling, exploring photography, and rewatching old movies with DJ Kelli. A background shaped by travel and years of working closely with people from different places and perspectives continues to influence the calm, adaptable approach brought to every event. Dale also founded Aspen Workflow Company, a consultancy focused on practical AI and workflow improvement.
