Until we hear the details of your event, here are some things we are commonly asked.

  • We include travel (within 1.5 hours), setup, equipment, and DJ services in our price. You pay only for the time that the DJ performs. There are no additional or hidden fees.

  • We have a state-of-the-art sound system, wireless microphones, dance lighting, and venue decorative up-lighting (recommended).

  • Our experience says it will. We have played countless events and never had any connectivity issues. We are happy to discuss this with the venue ahead of time to ensure there won’t be any issues.

  • Sure thing! Our job is to make your day as carefree as possible. If you want the cake cutting to begin at 7, we will do that. If you want speeches to happen at 8:30 pm and end by 9 pm, we can make that happen. With our iPhone or Android planning app, you can detail the exact timeline of events we will stick to it!

  • Absolutely! Check out our song list here. We also use an app for the smartphone and computer to select all the music you want (or don't want) to hear. Check out an example of the wedding planning app here.

  • We have a Wedding Planning App with straightforward and helpful tools to give us the details about your wedding and select the music you want to hear. Our DJ will work closely with you to create the exact music and ambiance you are looking for. For weddings, the online form details all of the specific requests, first dances, and lots of other info that will help us to be the best prepared for your special day.   • We do! Our wedding planning app even lets you invite your guests to select songs for the dancing portion of the night. Our song database is vast and we will have any song someone might request. However, often times the song that person wants to hear will vacate the dance floor. We will work with you to tailor our performance to play the music you are looking for.

  • Absolutely! Depending on how far the locations are (such as the wedding ceremony and reception) we can move our equipment to the second location or have a multi-zone speaker setup.

  • We occasionally host karaoke throughout the year. The ambiance of these events is different than at your event, but you will get an idea of what DJ Kelli is like and if it is the right fit. Just let us know if you want to stop by.

  • We have a full lighting display equipped with strobes, LEDs, wash lights, spotlights, and UV lights. We also have decorative venue up-lighting!

  • An iPod might get you singing in the shower, but a DJ will get a room moving. Our DJs are experienced in reading a crowd and understanding precisely what is needed to get people on the dance floor. Also, an iPod cannot make announcements, facilitate speeches, and ensure everything runs according to a timeline.

  • We require a 50% deposit to hold the date. This means that no matter what happens, that date is reserved for you and we will be there.

  • Absolutely. We work with many professionals in the industry that we trust and can recommend. Just ask and we will connect you.

  • Yes. We are fully insured (up to $1 million per event) and can add additional insured parties to our policy.

  • Email or reach us through our contact page. Let us know the event's details (date, location, hours, etc.) and we will reach out to you with our availability and price quote. We require a 50% deposit to reserve a date.
